It's because of days like this!
We were priviledged to spend our entire weekend with all of our local children! Once again, there was no planning involved- it just happened! Actually , since I am so well taken care of by God, I KNOW that these days don't just happen. He plans them, in spite of me, and thenn gift wraps them and presents them to me as a complete surprise!
On Saturday morning my husband felt much less dizzy so we got out for a short trip to town where we visited with his dad. Since it was such a nice day, we decided to haul him out to the house for a visit and some pond time. He enjoyed fishing immensly!! It made my heart sing to see him so intensely involved in it!
It looks as though we all huddled together for a picture, but we didn't. The kids just kept gravitating toward Paw Paw.
While the kids fished and visited I sat perched in my chair and sketched and painted! What a wonderful ,wonderful gift God gives us when he blesses us with several generations to blend and mix together! My heart is so full and yet I cannot manage to put into words my thankfulness to HIM for this blessing!!!
We also celebrated Luke's 15th birthday!!! How can that be???? I promise to STOP calling him my baby- at least until he's old enough not to care!!!!
Later this week he will be driving and by next week I'm certain he will be moving out...after all everytime I blink one of my "little ones" have grown up and flown away!!!
