What I ****LOVE***** about summer!!!

 I searched for poems that express the wonder of the summer but alas I  only came up with hokey ones!

So it looks like you'll just have to go on the photo journey with me again- believe me -  it's better than  a hokey poem!!!

WHAT I LOVE ABOUT SUMMER......

Fishing in the pond

watching the water

diggin for worms

baiting  a hook for a grandbaby

listening to my kids talk and laugh

hearing a new song come to life

family reunions

watchin the flowers grow

seeing a seed spring to life

new babies

old grandmas

4 wheelers

lazy evenings outside

bar b que

lemonade

popcicles

cousin love

swimming

sweet tea

garage sales

finding treasures at the thrift store

riding with the windows down

Italian Creme sodas

did I mention daisies???

fat healthy babies

fresh summer rain

cutting the grass

....

I guess this is the official end to summer...and the beginning to a whole other chapter in my life.

This is my last year of homeschooling.

We started in 1984 .....I'm ready  for the next part of the journey but more than tha,t I am sooo thankful that I was permitted the great honor of spending all day, every day with my 5 special blessings from God!!!

They are the most wonderful people!! I am so proud of every one of them!!!

Seeing the kind of adults they have become makes the sacrifices of all those years seem as nothing!

I don't think I missed a thing!!!!
