A quick peek at progress...

It has been a whirlwind adventure!!! Just a few days ago- less than a month ago- we started the little house renovations. In the midst of the project a great many things have happened-both good and bad.
Too many events to mention- except to say that I am glad its all over and the kids are moved in.
There are lots of boxes to unpack and plenty of construction mess to clean up, as well as dirt work and small details to finish.
I got to spend Mother's Day with my mom, who against all rules brought a picnic lunch to the work site so we could keep on working!!! What a MOM!!!!!

The garden has been overtaken in weeds but still produced beautiful cucumbers, cabbage and broccoli!
I need to take a deep breath and start the next round of clean up and catch up slowly.
Will somebody please remind me of that????

I love the quilt and the color of paint. Good taste! Good job. It sounds like you have a wonderful Mom. Another blessing. I lost my Mom a few years back so Mothers day is a little sad for me. Have a super day. Blessings, Dawn

Lucky you to have Mom close by. I know you enjoy every minute of it. My mom is 2 days away in Florida, but she is happy there. Love the renovations and the garden photo. RELAX!! Things will always be waiting to get done, but you need to relax and enjoy some free time!! Was that enough of a reminder!? XXOO

Autumn,

SLOW DOWN!! There, is that plain enough. :0) I know how nice it is to have all done...well, almost! It's good enough! Those kids can take over and get the rest in place....let's see....where's that cute little featherweight machine? I know it is anxiously awaiting some attention. :0)

Hugs to you,
Steph

Beautiful things you are creating. Your room is just too country sweet. I love it!!
Time to take a nice breather--a nice cold glass of iced tea and some time to breathe other than paint and cleanings.

Keep up the beautiful works!!
