Fresh garden vegetables!!!!!

It's finally time to start reaping some of the benefits of gardening!! I am so thrilled with the turnout so far!
I have given up gardening many times.....only to try again...this time it's working out better.
Yes this broccoli is from my garden!! Isn't it beautiful???????I have cut 3 more since this and all taste perfectly divine!!!!!

The garden was missing something, but Abby and I figured it out- it needed a garden girl to watch out for critters!
We got busy and put one together this week- she named the garden girl MAGGIE.
She also made me promise to take her an umbrella if it rained.

The broccoli and eggs look so good!! I'm so glad this year gardening has been kind to you. :0) And the garden gal is great..I too used to have one in my herb garden...any excuse to scour the thrift shop for long dresses just for her!

Awesome! I'm a bit envious...only just planted my broccoli seeds last week...snow to mow in a week! Enjoy your bounty, dear.

Wow~you are already harvesting and we are just beginning to plant. How wonderful the broccoli and eggs look. It 's great to grow your own things.

I love your garden girl. Abby is so sweet.

Yum, fresh broccoli. It is finally warm enough to get my seedlings into the ground...it will be months til harvest for us. You give me hope and inspiration. BTW....love Maggie. I might have to do a little something like that, myself! Great idea.

Hugs to you, friend.
