My husband has patiently "kept" this old rusty set of springs for me , no doubt wondering what on earth I was gonna do with it!
It looked like a perfect "movable" flower bed to me- so here's all I did~
Line each cone shaped spring with hay or pine straw ( my daughter suggested old newspaper too-now that would look cool huh?)and then fill with potting soil and some fresh new BEDDING plants!!!
They dry out faster like this so keep it watered regularly!!!
HAPPY SPRING!!!!!!!

I just can't get over how innovative this is!!!!! And those adorable chickens being hams and showing off is icing on the cake. lol
This is soooooo cool!!! I've got to find some for my own yard art...I've always wanted to use an old iron bed set up in the yard for a *bed of flowers* :0) I think I'd like to remove all my grass *which there's not much of*, put in gravel and have yard art everywhere.
What an adorable idea, Autumn! I could never have come up with that idea!! You are the queen of repurposing.
What a great idea! Its beautiful! I might just have to try and find me a small something to do that with! Blessings,Karen
This is one of the smartest things I have ever seen!! Too clever.
Love that idea, will have to add this to my Washington State garden when we go back in May.... I also love to use fun things in my garden.
