I am so thrilled to introduce you to my flock of birds!
Yes- each of them has a name!!!!!
No-we are not going to eat them!!!!!
This is Jake-the TOY rooster!! he's about 6" tall!!!
This is Madeline-she's a fancy hen- she has feathers on her legs.
And these two are Daisy and Lillie- These girls are a little showy- their names are Eva,ZSA ZSA and Bridgette & Liza.My sweet husband gets to throw away his "honey-do" list and start the new year off with a clean slate!
I can see him jumping for joy, can't you?
He managed to accomplish more than just providing a wonderful place to live and food for us; he finished my dining room(um...does that mean the house is finished? ) ,got all my berry bushes and fruit trees, and built my chicken pen and bought my hens!!!!!
He spoils me- and I know it!
He's carved out a beautiful life for us and I am having the time of my life "growing old" with him!

OH, I want some! Really... I have always wanted chickens. I dont think that is allowed in Lubbock LOL, but I still hope somewhere in my future I will have that home in the country with chickens and a horse -sigh-
I'm still wishing about the horse- but unless we strike oil on the property I think we won't ever finance THAT expense. :)
I'd settle for a donkey though!
Would the kids enjoy that or what????
It is indeed beautiful to watch you guys grow old together...or rather, watch Luke grow you old.. : )What a beautiful life ~
Oh my, what a handsome and beautiful flock you have! I just love the fancy chicks. They are better than TV any day!! Oh, and the donkey would be COOL!!
