....I sorted through! I have a box full of keys. Old keys...funny keys ....fancy keys..... but in all the keys I sorted ,I couldn't find the ONE I was looking for!
Sounds silly,huh? I just knew it would be in one of the boxes- I sorted through EVERY bead, button, key and paper clip- but it wasn't there.I decided that my frugal grandmother was so happy(in the 70's) that her old house was remodeled and that she had a new back door , that she tossed the key- that wonderful old skeleton key that she let my chubby- ok boney hand- turn to unlock the magical back door to my favorite place! 
That is until yesterday!!! Mom pulled out a box of military medals and discharge papers from World War I and what do you think was in that little wooden box???
THE KEY!!!!!!!
I might not have been sure- except for that little clip on the end- I always wondered what it was-thus it was burned into my memory-along with the KEY!!!
Little things mean a lot!!!
