Day to day happenings....

As you can see Maggie, the squirrel is growing up. Her tail is getting fuzzy and she holds her bottle when she eats. She's doing just fine.

Also work has begun on the permanent compost bin. I have been using a barrell to learn what to compost and what not to. Also trying to create the habit of composting. I'm doing much better with composing than I am with cutting out the plastic bags at the grocery store. It is really stressing me out to try to remember to bring my reusables into the store! Then when I get home with all that plastic I get mad all over again.
I'll keep trying but with all the storm interruptions and switching gears so often and so quickly I just haven't established a habit. Any ideas????

When I plan on going to the store, I put my reusable bags on the front passenger seat or floor of the car! I even leave a reminder note in the house to put the bags there. Hey, if it works for me, it's gotta work for everyone! Try it!!

Hey Thanks for stopping by!
Mary- I put them in the front seat with my purse right on top of them and then quite regularly get right out , moving them to get my purse and there they sit!!! GRRR! I think I'll call it HurricaneHead! We are all tired of hurricane mode down here and it seems to affect our thinking!!!
Hey Steph- are ya feeling better?
Nasty colds are so tiring!
How's your sweet bundle of PINK?

Oh my goodness...i TOTALLY do the same thing about my reusable grocery bags. I forget them and then drive myself bonkers that I have to use plastic again! The good thing is that I do reuse our plastic bags quite a bit...I'm sorry though..I have no advice...I am actually in need of advice too..hehe!
