The Risky Roost is still coming along.

The concrete floor is finished, the nest boxes are set and the roost is in place!

It may seem slow but I never was in a hurry. It may be spring before we can get

hens anyway so I guess we have all had a relaxed approach. I guess fencing will be the next thing to finish and then the ladies can move in!!!

I still have lots of plans for the area around the hen house- but it seems life keeps twisting and turning and I am constantly re-evaluating my priorities. I have a close friend and brother in law dealing with life threatening illnesses and it makes my "to-do" list seem rather unimportant. I'll get to the outdoor decor sooner or later.
