So my sweetie is fixing up lights ,on a timer so that the girls get the needed ligt and we get EGGS!!! Stay tuned to see if it works. I read that they start laying within a few days of the needed light.

Lights,timer, EGGS?????
This high-wire act is all about the chickens.They need light-14 hours to be exact- to start laying. 
So my sweetie is fixing up lights ,on a timer so that the girls get the needed ligt and we get EGGS!!! Stay tuned to see if it works. I read that they start laying within a few days of the needed light.

I want some chicks, too. i am hoping to get some this year.
I will need to hook up some lights like these if I do.
