Just outside the door...

Earlier in the week, I was feeling a little under the weather so I spent the day mostly on the couch in my pajamas. Luckily I have an awesome teenager- he hung out my laundry,cleaned up the kitchen and offered to fix lunch for me.

After a long space of quiet I realized he was just outside doing something- but I couldn't figure out what.

You can imagine my surprise when I saw this!!! He had built a trebuchet and was busily launching various objects in an attempt to fine tune the aim and distance!

His inventions are constantly being worked over and over- fine tuning, refining and rebuilding and on and on it goes!
