After reading and listening to lots of information we installed lights on a timer,and in 10 days-well...see for yourself-AN EGG!!!
A perfectly beautiful,tiny brown egg!!
Abby and Sara were right there when I found it and we squealed like a bunch of....well....girls!!!!
Abby was explaining to all of us that there was a baby bird inside and we must not EAT the egg!!!!

Yay! Autumn....you will never go back to store bought eggs. I see more and more chickens in your future! They are just the greatest!

Yippeee!!! Now I want chickens~they'd be awesome for keeping the garden pest free too, if I could figger out how to keep them without bothering the neighbors. lol
