The dining room was the last room to finish in the house- it's been 19 years - but it now has barn wood on the walls and trim around the windows!!! We even painted the ceiling- amazingly we took a leap and painted the ceiling black. Picture your favorite country restaurant and then go look up at the ceiling- lots of them are black. It gives the room a totally different look- at night it seems much higher-kinda disappears.
That light you see in the picture is no longer there- he put in boxed flourescent lights.
I'll try to get a new shot with the rest of the furniture and decor' back in there.
Looks like we'll be waiting on another storm by next weekend- it's been a busy season.
